Al Alcorn

President and Chief Executive Officer

A pioneering engineer and computer scientist, Al Alcorn was the original designer of Pong, the videogame that put Atari on the map in the 1970’s. After leaving Atari in 1980, Mr. Alcorn was involved in a number of startups, including Cumma, a reprogrammable video game cartridge/kiosk system. He was also an advisor to Etak, one of the first practical, in-car navigation systems. In 1998, he founded Zowie Intertainment. Mr. Alcorn is an Apple Fellow and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1971 with a B.S. degree in EECS.
